FSAE | Steering Wheel

Project Description

Expansion of the steering wheel geometry to accommodate use by the 95th percentile male driver. Additional assessments performed to ensure all drivers had the ability to turn to full lock without interference with their knees.

These modifications allowed for overall optimisation of driver positioning, and allowed larger drivers to set consistent laptimes for longer durations of time.
